What is the limited scope X-Ray exam?

Many states let limited X-Ray machine operators (often called LXMOs, limited permit or basic X-Ray machine operators) take X-rays in clinics, urgent care and doctors' offices. Most of those states use the ARRT Examination for the Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography: a core section that everyone takes, plus procedure modules chosen by the state.

Which modules you take, and the score you need to pass, depend on your state. Limited X-Ray Prep builds your study plan around those rules, so you don't waste time on sections that won't be on your exam.
